At Coffee Joy, we believe in the power of a great cup of coffee to bring joy and happiness to our customers. Our mission is to offer the finest quality coffee, served by passionate individuals who are dedicated to sharing this exceptional experience. We strive to make each visit to Coffee Joy a pleasurable and memorable one for all our customers.

We are Trish and Walt Vercoe and our coffee journey dates back to 1996 when we were married and moved from Omaha, Nebraska to the Portland, Oregon area and quickly took to the Pacific Northwest’s coffee culture. Upon moving back to Omaha, we brought our love of coffee back to the Midwest and were always looking for ways to improve our home coffee experience.

Fast forward to 2012 and living in Arizona with our 3 boys, Keegan, Cameron and Colton, we began operating our newly started church cafe as a family. We were able to share our passion and love of coffee with others in the church cafe for twelve years and loved being able to create a great first impression for those coming through the doors. Serving a great cup of coffee and creating a pleasurable and memorable experience brought us great joy as a family, and that is how Coffee Joy was born.

Since launching Coffee Joy, we relocated to N. Topsail Beach, NC with the opportunity to open the only coffee shop in the town and now serve our handcrafted drinks at a variety of events.  You can find us on the north end of Topsail Island, conveniently located in the St. Regis Resort.

As the name suggests, our ultimate goal is to bring joy to our customers through our high-quality products and a warm, engaging atmosphere. Coffee has always brought immense joy to our family, and now we want to reciprocate that joy by creating an unforgettable coffee experience for everyone who visits Coffee Joy.

In addition to delighting our customers, we are committed to giving back to our local community. Our 3 boys have all played baseball beyond high school and we have been heavily involved in their baseball programs from Little League through high school, and understand the importance of giving back. We believe in actively engaging with charitable works, financially supporting local organizations and dedicating our time to selected causes. Coffee Joy is more than just a business, it is a platform for us to make a positive impact on the lives of those around us.
